Menorrhagia: Managing abnormally heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding. Post-Surgical Bleeding: Reducing blood loss after dental, orthopedic, or gynecological surgeries. Epistaxis: Treating severe or recurring nosebleeds. Trauma: Controlling bleeding in emergency situations involving internal or external injuries.

This medication uses two different mechanisms to stop bleeding quickly: Ethamsylate: Acts on the first step of blood clotting. It makes platelets (the cells that stop bleeding) "stickier" so they can clump together faster. It also strengthens the walls of small blood vessels (capillaries) to prevent them from leaking. Tranexamic Acid: Acts on the second step. Once a clot is formed, the body naturally tries to dissolve it. Tranexamic acid prevents the premature breakdown of these clots, ensuring the bleeding doesn't restart.

Common: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, and stomach pain. Others: Muscle or joint pain, dizziness, and a stuffy nose. Serious (Seek immediate help): Signs of a blood clot (swelling/redness in one leg, sudden shortness of breath, chest pain) or changes in vision.
